PLEASE SUPPORT THE FARMERS’ WATER WELL PROJECT!

After we lost our community farm in south central LA three years ago, a generous supporter donated 80 acres of farmland to us in the fertile central valley near Bakersfield. Tragically, we have been unable to farm the land because it lacks a working well. Over the last six months equipment donations have been made by a variety of companies and SCF expects to have our own farm up and working within the year!

For the first time in our history we will be farming on land we can’t be evicted from!  While it’s incredibly exciting,  there will be many items that won’t be donated and will be needed for this project to be successful.
